Come along Pūkaha's Annual Community Open Day! This day will be filled with fascinating talks from experts on Takahē, Kiwi, Whio, Pāteke, Longfin Tuna, Kākā, and Bugs! We'll also have a variety of conservation and sustainability organisations, both local and national, sharing their incredible work. Learn about the amazing efforts being made to protect and preserve our natural world. Special Guest: Ruud Kleinpaste, The Bugman! Ruud Kleinpaste, renowned entomologist and nature enthusiast, will be joining us. You might know him from his radio and TV shows, including 'Buggin' with Ruud.' We are thrilled to have Ruud back with us at Pūkaha, and he can't wait to share his passion for bugs with everyone! Bring the whole whānau for a day of learning, fun, and community spirit.
