Go and experience the nostalgia of rail travel and get behind-the-scenes look at the Society's incredible preservation work!

What's happening on the Day?

• Newman Railcar Rambler - Take a scenic return trip from Pahiatua to Newman aboard 1938 Standard Railcar.  Departs : 9:30am, 10:35am, 12:10pm, 1:15pm, 2:20pm.  Bookings available at the above website.
• Silver Fern Railcar Rides - Tickets only available on the day.  Departs 9:35am and runs approx every 30 minutes in the yard.
• Workshop Tours & Displays - Explore the shed, see the railcars being restored, and check out fascinating railway displays.
• Coffee/Food
