This accommodation is located in the historic Shearers Quarters and has been lovingly restored into a comfortable and unique holiday escape nestled on the bank of the tidal Ākitio River. What a great venue for a holiday!

9 bedrooms with two living rooms to give big groups and families plenty of space. It is tidy and well furbished with all amenities provided. Safe sandy swimming beach, reef, fishing and surfing are some of Ākitio Beach's many features.

As an optional extra with your stay, take advantage of the marked tracks each offering a different experience including native bush, wildlife and spectacular panoramic views. Our farm tracks can be explored by foot, bike or your own horse. All tracks are self-guided, and access is included in the cost of your accommodation.
