Coppermine Valley Creek Walk

This is a pleasant popular walk through lowland forest to an area where copper was mined. Here you'll find the site of an abandoned coppermine and cave weta. This is a fairly easy walk for all the family with stunning scenery. You'll pass by waterfalls, native trees and wildlife. A word of warning to check the condition of the track with local farmer, Noel Galloway, as the track can be dangerous after heavy rain and there are steep drop offs. Allow 2 - 3 hours to do this walk.
